Information for Northern Region Drivers

The Vehicle Emissions Inspection and Maintenance Program is part of an overall plan to bring cleaner air to Pennsylvania.

Private garages do both tests and repairs annually, just like the safety inspection. The safety and emissions test will be done at the same time and at fees set by competition.
